My journey started when I was laid off of my labor intensive job. I lost my income and had a fiancée and two kids to support. I worked in the pest control and structural repair field for ten years. The long and short of it is I crawled around under houses that were typically rat infested. There was urine and feces and fiberglass insulation and so many other things to deal with everyday. The pay was just enough to get by, but with no benefits or insurance.
